What is this tool
AudioToolKit removes vocals from a song online. A neural stem-separation model (Demucs) predicts the vocal and instrumental components of any MP3, WAV or M4A track and returns whichever you choose — instrumental for karaoke and practice, or isolated vocals. Processing runs in a background queue on our servers; files are deleted automatically when the job finishes.

How does it work?
A neural network (Demucs) predicts the vocal and instrumental components and subtracts one from the full mix.
How long does it take?
CPU processing takes a few minutes per track. You can leave the tab open; the job runs in the background queue.
Is the result perfect?
It is very good for pop and rock. Heavy side-chain compression and dense mixes leave more residue than clean ones.
